Any suggestions about John Deere bagger

I'm looking to purchase a 925a 54" ztrak to replace my old exmark. I can't decide which bagger to get with it. JD offers the 14 bushel 3 bag which seems heavy and bulky, or an 8 bushel 2 bag that's lighter duty and $1000 cheaper. I bag a few lawns a week so I carry it all in the trailer and work solo at all times lifting it on and off at the job site. Any imput or suggestions on which bagger for that machine?

I would think a rear bagger would be a PITA to be swapping on a weekly basis. You might want to look into just a catcher that you could pop on/off the side of the deck. Wont hold much, but alot easier to swap on/off.

Don't own that equipment. Though what comes to mind is that a 3 bag will make the mower a lot wider and then you may have trailer and gate fitment issues.

But if you plan on using it for leaf clean ups then a two bag will may fill up too fast.

Let's see what those that have that ZTR and attachments have to say.

I also own a couple 925a's and have both the dfs system and the 3 bagger system. I find that the 3 bag system is pretty tough to take on and off by myself. We have a smaller deere with the two bag system and its really easy to take off with one person. Also, like said before keep in mind how much you are going to use it for summer as well as all the spring and fall cleanups. Its night and day diffrence between the added volume you can pack into the three bag system over the two it seems. Right now we primarly use the dfs system because its eaiser to take off and on and makes dumping much quicker and cleaner.

How well does the bag system work to pick up leaves?

How fast will the 2 bag system load up doing leaves vs the 3 bag system?

The two bag system is 8 bushel where as the three bag is 14. It almost seems like you can pack in twice as much with the three bag unit. For the spring and fall cleanups it is an awesome machne, it sucks up leaves and debris all with very little blowout. The only thing that is a downfall is the lack of power with the collection system on heavy wet leaves with my efi.
