There are polls and pages of threads on this. Look on the main page under "industry surveys and polls" forum. There are many good brands (not just scag exmark or ferris) each have their strong and weak points.

Amen to that:

Something that doesnt get enough attention on LS however is the mulching capability of the mowers. (My Toros and my formerly owned Exmark do-did a fantastic job with the mulch kit.

Kubota, John Deere, Exmarks, Scag, Ferris, Grasshopper, all do a great job IMO...
