Loud cranking noise when shifting into gear

That they would Slapper, Along with..... Worn pinion & carrier gears or bearings along with worn spider gears & cross shaft. But..... spitfire doesn't have a "clunk" noise, He has a "cranking" noise.....


spitfire, I'd take it back to the dealer and get them to check it out.....

you'll be fine. You've been parking under a load...different truck, different transmission.

Beer only tastes good when I've had smoke in my face...after work or during BBQ....
