Thanks for sharing the photo and the type of light source you use for that. I love the effect you get with that light mounted in the header. Where do you source your 1.5" recessed lights? (if you don't mind sharing) Shoot me a PM if need be. I love little niche lights like that- sooo handy.

Yes, the house we lit in that picture is very old, it was recently gutted and remodeled, but there are still some remnants that are odd. 2x4 header seems awfully narrow to me too, but I don't build em

Focus has some tiny MR16 and MR11 recessed fixtures that are OK. Not sure how they managed to get their cETLus listing on them due to the size and the heat challenges when lamp ed with halogen, but they are stickered.
