Hi, my name is Brian and had a question for you. What exactly is the "improvement kit" you were talking about? Can you give more details on this?

I am looking to buy an 820a from 2009 (I think) with low hours in good condition with the mulch kit, but do not understand the quirks if this machine.

Hi Brian. The "kit" was for the hydro units, which is what caused all the problems on the early 800's (first half of '08). The '09 models should all have the upgrade kit installed from the factory.

-But how did it solve the problem?
-Were the hydro pumps replaced with smaller ones or bigger ones?
-What exactly was in the "kit"?
-Also did it sufficiently solve the "lack of power" issue when climbing hills and tall grasses?

-Moreover, does '09 models of the 820a's have the same issues?
