Slit Seeder?
Okay, so I know this is the wrong forum, but I rented a slit seeder to use on my own lawn tomorrow and have never used one before. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or tips on using one? I'll be planting fescue, if that makes any difference. Thanks.

I like to seed the whole lawn in one direction then go over it again in the opposite direction. I like using the X pattern.

I hope your lawn is flat because the last time I rented one the rental place did not have any self propelled models. Do remember that the spinning blades aren't meant to pull the seeder. They are only for making the slits in the ground. I second, the X pattern as well.
