I have another add-on. My dad's lawn is due for a full throttle renovation. Loaded with wild violet and lumpy as can be from moles possibly and nightcrawlers. Flat out gotta get his lawn popping for 2014.

I'm kinda glad my dad's drunk neighbor gave me an earful last summer about his weeds. That was a lesson in bite my tounge and here this drunk guy out. Everything happens for a reason. Strong possibility I might end up living there PT to make sure he's okay so he doesn't have to go to assisted living etc.

I finished my goals early the other morning while drinking coffee I write them out every year and then make a large copy to hang on office or garage wall I try to keep the list were I will see it and be reminded of them daily. Many of my goals this year are not directly related to business but in end affect business. Will share hope no one gives me crap for this list.
Eat healthier
Loose 20pounds
Stop cursing so damn much
Be a better husband and father
End next year with as much money in bank as started with
Take a vacation
Increase business by 25 percent

Well thats it figure I can achieve most but the cussing one well gonna take work.

Anyone have an annual planning/strategy session for 2014?

Have one of our admin's putting together a two day offsite strategy session for mid January. Will go from 9-5 day 1 populating our strategic plan then break for a cocktail hour and dinner - all fun day 2. Will be our 5th year doing an annual session - it has been a great way to get all key people in alignment as well as giving them a chance to be heard.

Read a timely article in "Lawn & Landscape" on company retreats. Going to steal an idea and hit up vendors for sponsorship money.

"Be a better husband and father"
Awesome....
This is what it's all about, this is why I am in business.
When this gets compromised, time to take a good hard look at things....
