A good foreman who knows how to run a crew deal with customers, fix /maintain equipment should be around $18 first year.
walker mowers are the best thing sence sliced bread !

$11 per hour by how many hours in your work week? Does part of his check come from overtime? Any other variables beside the company truck to drive? To me it sounds low if he is not making any overtime weekly.

$11 is way to low IMO. I would say $16-$18. That is experience and you can't put a price on that especially if he is good at what he does.

Does he have issues? ( don't they all ? ) drugs , booze , always needs to go to court, unstable relationship at home ect? If not , these guys are right $18 or so.

That's cheap, if he can produce and run the rig without you having to keep on him/quality control AND is willing to train guys to produce great work then he should be $15-20+
