I wish. Then we could stop worrying about who might be a potential molester or rapist.

Diesels make gobs of torque compared to a gas engine. You might be able to make it work with an 8 HP single cylinder. I have a farmer friend who draws from a reservoir using an 8 HP diesel. That is used to run overhead sprinklers.

I have to push it 350' h and 50' vertical.

50 ft H means that the pump needs to be rated for at least twice that. I would prefer 3X to also consider friction loss. Your application would be considered higher pressure to travel that distance.

I'm using a 4hp gas as a pusher and an elec booster...I have plenty of flow with just the pusher, but I lack pressure so I also use a sprinkler booster pump. I'm over 20 gpm. My 4hp pump is rated at 160 gpm...of course this doesn't factor in a 50' elevation difference.

This is why I'm looking for a larger pump...I also have to balance water intake so that I do not suck my source of water dry.

Your engine driven pump could do it all provided those factors I mentioned were taken into account. A 4 HP gas pump normally does not have enough head to do much. How many GPM do you need at the end. What it sounds like is a higher pressure, lower flow type of pump is called for. They are centrifugal pumps made for sprayers or for powering fire hoses.

I could do it with as little as 10 gpm, obviously the less flow the less heads I can run at one time...same with pressure. I suppose you can get irrigation heads that are ultra low flow but I would like to finish watering my lawn in a few hours...not days!

Right now the two pumps I'm using are centrifugal pumps. I need something that would provide 100 psi or so at my irrigation system. I'd use an electric pump at the creek but the cost of wire is prohibitive and there is no way I could locate pump at the top of the hill and pull the water considering my 50' elevation difference unless I used a jet pump which are pretty low flow from what I've been reading...not to mention they are pretty inefficient.

I'd rather have higher flow and lower pressure if possible.
