Electric Clutch won't turn off - Toro Grandstand

I have a Toro Grandstand and the electric clutch won't turn off very easily. Neither the OPC switch or the PTO switch will turn it off.
It will disengage when the engine is shut off - or when you abruptly throttle up the engine.
It doesn't seem to be electric though because I can actually unplug the clutch connector while the clutch is on and it won't turn off.
I don't think its bearings either - no unusual noises and the bottom side spins just great when its not engaged.
To me it sounds like the clutch plates are actually holding in to each other - I can just replace the clutch - but I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas on what's going on.

I think that's your issue, Remove the clutch and check both bearings....

Okay, I'll check that. Any idea what would be wrong with the bearings, e.g. loose, tight, etc.

You guys build a good product....
When are you going to contribute to the troubleshooting on this forum ?
A phone # can hardly help anyone that searches this post looking for good insight and pertinent information...that may help them resolve their problems..
With your vast resources and technical support it could be good for public relations...
Having said that...Giving away FREE technical advice may upset some of your dealers....
Keep up the good work....
