New to me Mower

I currently have an older Toro 52" walk behind with a Kohler 15 hp engine. The mower has 2000 hours on it, but everything runs well and she cuts great! A friend of mine is selling his 2007 Cub Cadet Tank, 60" cut, 25 hp kawasaki engine, with a bagger for $2900. I feel like I need a zero turn to do my lawns more efficiently and bigger would help as well. I'm just not sure I want to go with a Cub Cadet. I cut with it today for a little and really liked everything about it. Has anyone else had any experience with them? Any input at all would be appreciated.

Toro walkbehinds are zero turn. The Cub is ZTR (Zero Turn Rider)

Forgive my ignorance, yes I'm aware that the Toro is a zero turn. I'm looking for a riding zero turn. The Toro has a 15 horsepower engine with a 52" deck. I tried putting a sulky on but it just doesn't have enough horsepower to run that big of a deck plus pull me.

Figured you prob meant ZTR but said zero turn! Lol! I have the Toro Proline 36" & 44". I'm gettin my ducks in a row to go fulltime next season. Right now I'm parttime with 15 mowing accts (3 of them full service). When I go fulltime & my week gets full using my 44", I will be looking into prob a 52" or 60" ZTR myself to shave some time with wider cut, more speed & not have to empty grass as often or at all til I'm done with the lawn. I figure a ZTR will bag 3X more clippings than my proline basket. Would luv a stand on like Wright Stander or Toro Grandstand but bagging is big for me & these have small collection system. Idealy would like to have a stand on unit & ZTR.

What I need to know though is, is the mower a good buy? I have never been a fan of Cub Cadet, more of a homeowner brand....but is this thing any different?

I know nothing abt ZTRs. Just chimed in cuz you said you felt you could use a zero turn & I had to point out you already have a zero turn! I would give my $.02 abt Cub if I had it. Hopefully someone will respond with something helpful since we keep bumping thread to top!

Fixed it for you.

Has nothing to do with riding or standing, or walking for that matter.

I guess if you want to get technical, the first "zero turn" was a rider...lol

And even more technical, technically none of the ZTR's are ZTR's, because none of them can make a "zero turn".
