Redmax handheld reciprocators, anybody using them?

My local dealer has a bunch of Redmax reciprocators at blowout price. I've never used one, even at $299 I'm hesitant. Original retail was $599. These are all new old stock. Any experience appreciated.

i use one and its awesume. mostly i use it as an extended hedge trimmer. also makes a great brush cutter. you can trim poisen ivy without slinging it on you.
