Exmark 48" Lazer Throttle Questions

Hey guys,

I have a Exmark 48" Lazer Z with a Kohler motor. I'm assuming that it is the 20 hp, but I'm not sure. The problem that I'm having is that when the motor is over half throttle it is revving way too fast than it should be. I got the mower for very cheap, so maybe someone put on a different motor and messed up the throttle linkage? Otherwise the mower starts up and runs good up until half throttle.

Here is a pic of the motor: http://image90.webshots.com/90/0/17/...0RgDrXk_fs.jpg

Pic of the current throttle linkage: http://image90.webshots.com/90/1/77/...0HkSecJ_fs.jpg

Any help would be greatly appreciated as always. Does anyone have the a throttle linkage diagram for this particular machine?

The best thing for you to do, is go here: http://www.kohlerengines.com/manuals/landing.htm and download a service manual and study the governor and controls sections.
