My thoughts exactly, and spend more time working on my golf game.

As wantausername stated...the Shindaiwa's look interesting.
The Ryobi's did not interest me. Tanaka's don't look bad. I have had a Stihl FS 76 line trimmer since the early 1990's, and it has been fantastic. A small rubber diaphragm in the carb finally went bad last year. I fixed it and it runs good again. It's a bit hard to start, and quite a bit of vibration though. |

I don't give a damn about noise, I wear hearing protection!
I've gotten excellent service out of my Shindaiwa equipment but am now running a Husqvarna trimmer and blower as my main units. You might want to check out the Husky trimmers...the 223, 323 and 326 are nice little trimmers...I'm in love with my 323. Money is never really an object with me on the small equipment. |

The Shindaiwa and VanDerMolen units look nice...think I'll try to test a couple of them out at a dealer, when I find the time.

I'm on the side that says if money were no concern I wouldn't be working.
