The outer wires on the regulator connector are stator wires...right...
I guess its possible the new regulator is bad ??? Wiggle the wiring while it is running..see if it starts charging... Be careful...you have an ECU to think about.... What are your stator ac readings at idle...and at high speed ? Posted via Mobile Device |

I used the kohler replacement kit #24 755 144-s full wave conv. kit. From my local kohler dealer.

Yes outer wires from stator...pos in the middle
No changes on wiggling the wires....very good connections. Stator reading at idle is 10.5 vac Posted via Mobile Device |

That's where I'm at....I could find anything else to go on so I thought I would pick the forums collective minds. I'll try that tomorrow and let you know. Thanks for your time.

I had one that was doing the same thing. It should have a little metal strap that goes from the rectifier screw to the engine to ground it. Mine came off when when I had my worker change it.The part that was confusing about it was when you check the voltage you ground it so everything seems right. Try running a wire from the screw to an engine bolt.
