Now that we got some rain in Upstate NY. The grass is growing again... Anyways

Running double blades on our Ferris 5100z. G6's on the bottom and the oem ferris blades on top.

Plenty of power to turn them.... Compared to just running the single OEM blade... Which used to clump and just make the yard look like crap (5 acres) on the water...

Doubled them up... Mows like a new machine... smaller clippings (1/4")... Blows the majority of the clippings 12-15 feet (72") deck...

Never going back at this point... I would like to double up and go all g6's but I don't know if it will stress the clutch/spindles too much

The lower toned sound they generate is like your typical high lift blades. The G6 blades are harder for the engine to spin like most high lift blades. That is the only negative about the G6 Gator Blades. The G6 Gator is probably the last type of blade that I will buy.
This...

I bought my first box of 10 last November and I love 'em. They are thicker (.250") and wider (3"), as well as they have a Tungsten coating on the blade edge that supposedly holds an edge longer.

the g6 blades are not harder for the engine to spin. at least not on my mower. they actually make it where my mower no longer bogs down like it did when using high lift blades. there is less drag on the g6 blades and they are awesome. they are the best blade out there at this point.

Instead of using one blade per spindle, you're using two in a + pattern.Stay away from using hi-lifts better off with low to mid lifts.Weight can become a factory if your machine has a E-clutch, I use mid lift on bottom with a low lift on top
