Stihl Kombi, what model power head??

We use 130 Trimmers and I have a hedge clipper attachment that I have used some on one of the 130's. It's heavy but the 90 kombi is a little lighter and a lot less power.

So what model power head do you think is best?

I've got the KM 90 and have never run out of power running my attachments. I actually have to ease off on the throttle when running the hedge trimmer. It's got more than enough power to handle just about anything. With the trimmer head you want to leave the guard on because it wants to bog with more line than what the guard allows but I always leave my guards on so it's no big deal.

If you don;t like the km 90 the km 110 is another option, it's got 3 more cc's to it than the 90 but after trying the two I didn't feel that I needed them.

Have had all (3) over the years, the 90 is too small for most anything commercial. The 110 is fine for most jobs, but weighs about the same as the 130, which will run any attachment and do any job you will need it to handle. With this type of equipment, go big or don't bother.....

TO be honest with you... We have 4 Mowing crews and we have a few Redmax trimmers....All the rest are Home Depot or Lowes special's... I think they're toro's. They all have extended shafts. We pay like 70 bucks for the Engine sides then just keep the attachments. We have like 7 edgers, hedge trimmers, and Whip attachments. Oh and a pole saw.

Best choice ever!

I also run the 110. If I was to buy another one I would buy the 130.

I've had the KM110 for a few years now, always have had enough power for trimming, edging and even cutting with the pole saw. To me, if you have the extra money and feel like spending it, then go with the KM130 but otherwise the KM110 has had ample power for my use and I have zero complaints.

Picked up my 130 head Friday morning, that is 3 we have now. We run power brooms with two of them. They are a bit on the heavy side and have decent power, I am amazed at some crap we clean up with these brooms. So far so good with my sthil stuff.
