Here's another design I'm thinking about, gives me more landscaping to work with for tree's and rather then the pics above where the landscaping's got inward coves this is coved outward so can get the mower around it easier.

Less turf & more landscape , is the way I'd go too... easier mowing lanes is a better idea as well...

Probably move some landscaping timbers around this weekend and do a little roundup on the inside. Garden side can wait till fall as I don't need pine bark there I need a scoop or two of top soil.

Ok guys I started moving things around, nothing is roundup yet so could still make changes what you think?
This section is done, timbers cut and in place:  These sections I just have the landscaping timers laid in place to see how it looked before I did anymore but thats next, heat run me inside today   This looked better angled like the other side of the garden:

Looks good... now for a dozen mid-sized plants with lots of flowering potential and plenty of food besides...
