Scag tiger cub
Looking at a 2011 Tiger Cub 61 in with Kohler 23 hp and has 80hrs they are asking 6400, is this a good price and some opinions on pros and cons. What would this machine cost new, just got rid of Great Dane Sr 61 not sure how they compare.

First...80 hours? Homeowner own this? I have 360 hours on my new Toro G3 already, just bought it this spring.

Are you sure on the year? They didn't make the Cub after 2009. Maybe it's a 2011 Tiger CAT in which that would be a good deal. They go for 8k+ new with the 61 deck.

We payed $7500 for Turf Tiger same size with bigger engine and about 200 hrs on it. So I think that is a pretty good price. It wouldn';t matter to me if it was a 2009.

He says it's a 2010 and purchased in 2011 bought to start a side business but changed jobs, can't tell by picture but looks nice is there something on the picture that would tell me what it is can't read writing. Didn't know if 23 hp is large enough.

Are you sure it is 23.....that does seem a little small. I thought ours had a 25 Kohler on it but it sits at the shop. The turf tiger I drive has a big briggs van guard and I think they are 31 or 35.

Should be a Kohler 25 for a 61" deck in that year model. The Vanguard on the TT has always been a 35.
