Hedges for privacy

Gentlemen, I need your professional recommendation on what type of hedge to plant to aid as a privacy barrier. I'm looking for the fastest dense growing that will get at least six foot high.

Not sure where you are but verigated privet is a fast growing sense shrub.

Skip laurel. Be careful with fast growing plants, as they require lots of trimming.

I would recommend Ligustrum Japonica or Howard Ligustrum or some type of viburnum. These should all do well in your area and provided a dense evergreen foliage and have a moderate growth rate. If you check some ball and burlap nurseries you should be able to find some in the six foot range at affordable prices.
