ive been using the fimco boomless units for years, not to much problems, i did fab a manual spray hose for mine approx 25' with a lesco gun, use it all the time for a variety of jobs.

Spraying any kind of post emergent will streak in the middle because the spray volume is much higher in the middle than on the end of the spray stream with boom less.
