Do you have any constructive ideas that can help LCOs in Canada?

Stop the spread of misinformation regarding Health Canada and EPA Approved Pesticides.

2,4-D is perfectly safe, as is RoundUp.

I personally could never promote or sell a product or service to a customer that really doesn't work.

how do people live with themselves?

Here is a photo of a test of ferrous sulfate solution which intended to detect any chance of injury to blue/fine fescue mixture. The solution contained an ounce of "moss control" (17 percent iron sulfate) dissolved in one quart of water. The solution was sprayed on half sqft circles. The sprayer applied about an eighth of an ounce per second. The soil was moist due to rain and the high temperatures were mostly in the 70s. Only slight discoloration was seen.
Sprayed for 1 second, 2,3, and 4.

What about pulling lawn weeds by hand? Are companies in Canada offering that? By the time you walk around spot treating with fiesta you can pull and be more effective?

Years ago I had a customer that wanted
no chemicals--He was Ok with crabgrass control. I arranged do 10 minutes of hand weeding at every application. That way losing money was eliminated. A special weeding knife was helpful. In the end he sometimes let my apply a bit of spot spray or an occasional overall spray in the fall--if it was a low-toxicity product.

Can't get the yellow clover out by the roots so chemical control is the only way to eradicate it...

White clover spreads underground--needs chemical control.
Black medic with yellow flowers usually has a main taproot; I use a saw knife.
