Would of been nice to time my last truck with one of those tax holidays 65K at 7% was rather rude. And why 7% because over 50k its considered luxury and 6.35% wouldn't be high enough for our Dem Gov. But the only holidays they seem to give here are for clothes and school supplies.

I tried to convince the wife to let me go buy a Dodge 4500 dump. The tax was only the 4% state tax and good for up too $2500.

I didn't even know other state's had tax free weekend's for anything other than school supply's. And after this tax holiday is over it's back to 8.75% state sale's tax in this county.

The amount of people who utilize a tax free day should let govt know they are taxing us to death.

yeah, they put a cap on the amount. other wise car dealerships would make a killing and people would buy houses and crap. then the govt would lose money.
