Toro HD Commercial 21": Kickers or No-Kickers?

I wanted to get some feedback from people who have used the toro commercial 21" HD with and without the kickers. Did you notice any improvements without the kickers?

been running no kickers since 6 months after i bout it. the plastic kickers dont last and im not gonna be buyin kickers every couple of months. cheap design by toro. youll still get a good cut without them.

I had one back in 2004 with the Suzuki 2 stroke. I found it cut better for me without the kickers. I was mulching thick/healthy tall fescue at the highest setting when making this evaluation.
