LensesRX.com Liberty sport (rec specs) I've had them for 7-8 years now and they are great, fit well without the strap. Contacts aren't ideal if you are in dusty conditions (especially leaf season)

I just looked up the liberty sport rec specs and unfortunately they can't handle my prescription. It looks like they wraparound to much for how strong my prescription is. Anyway, I think I'm going to go with what I picked before (listed a few posts back). Thanks for the recommendation though.

As a side note when I was at my glasses place I asked about rec specs and was told I can't use them as safety glasses. He said they were just for sports and not approved for mowing and trimming. I guess maybe the lenses aren't as impact resistant as they need to be for safety glasses or maybe the side shields aren't tall enough?

You can try clip-on safety glasses as well as switching to contacts.

Hey bare spot,
Just wanted to update you on the glasses. The tinted frame came in today for me to look at. They look really nice and are comfortable so I ordered mine with grey transition lenses. They should be in by the end of next week. I can't wait.

I've now had them since last fall and I love them. I have transition lenses on mine and they work great as sunglasses when bright out as well as clear glasses when dark. They are pretty comfortable and fit under my earmuffs as well. The only thing is that I believe my prescription is on the very edge of what these frames can handle so they don't wrap around my face as tightly as the display model therefore making them a little wider than they should have been. It took a little getting used to but now I love them. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Looks like my reply got dropped never made it anyway much appreciated.found to places, the out of way place 3 times cheaper. So its off to the out of way place when can squeeze in the time. Checking them out, 1 frame had a sponge material, which mite be good to protect from dust abd debris. If gets to 've pita. Could always remove u guess. Just hoping price got is right or in the ballpark. Thanks again. Btw lens sounds like good way to go
