new mower

Hi,

Part time...would like to expand however my full time job keeps me busy ....fewer that 10 yards total however a 5+ lot...rest 1-2 but very nice..need a Walker but can only afford... Kubota zg222, Deeere 910 or 920, or good old Exmark ZZZZZZ. It is sad that the HD is gone..best machine made for a few years.

Quite a few hills ....saw on this site...Kubota ZG has high center of gravity, I did not think so but did not demo on hills. Any feedback? Anybody use this animal on hills??? I like this machine very much.

Also, Deere problems with traction?? I am looking at a 2011...was there a problem with the mower that anyone recalls or currently. I have read this in a couple of different areas. There is a 24x12x12 tire option...if I remember.

Thanks guys,

Charles

Just make sure that the gas tank is below the seat an you will get plenty of traction.

thanks,

as I research I find that the 910/some 920's...models with 48 inch decks... had thinner drive tires. larger models have 24x12x12...

Yup 48" will have narrow tires. Exmark and toro will be the same with smaller decks

My new super z has no traction problems with dual tanks over the wheels.

Not too many but I take it on some steep banks and ditches. Only slid into the ditch once, it was raining. I really feel more comfortable on it than using my scag wb.
