I was talking about something a little more direct like some guy with a flyer walking in front of my mower to put the flyer on the door. That's what happened. Ofcourse i crumbled it up quickly. Yeah, who cares if another service has the property.

If your leg is really messed up, I would say you would need to hire 2 helpers. In 7 years I have gone threw 17 employees trying to keep 1 full time and 1 part time. Might be 18, had one that did not show up Friday before a holiday.

I can't speak for where your located but here in Charlotte, NC there is plenty of money to be made. With the "recession" many people are working a lot of hours and when they do get time off they don't want to be spending their free time cutting grass so thats where we come in.

As far as what to charge I'm sure thats all down to what the going rate is in your town but I'm sure its different from when you were in business previously.

I say go for it! As for hiring help just take your time and hire the right employee.
