Different Snapper Pro S50X vs S50XT

Shopping for a Snapper Pro S50X but with the 19h kawi motor (model number S50XTKAV1936) and have seen a lot of cheaper prices- come to find out these are on an earlier model S50X (S50X2036) which has a 20 HP Kawi FX motor-trying to figure out what else is different- looks like maybe they don't have the ICD deck on the 20HP version? Anyone know of other differences?

I'll have to call a snapper dealer tomorrow but I think the S50XT1936 has the ICD deck and is the newest model, also most expensive with 19 HP Kawi. I think the S50X2036 had the standard deck only and the 20HP Kawi. Pictures I have found online show the "XT" model number with a sloping front deck skirt, "X" model number machines have a vertical front deck skirt. (pictures could be wrong- it is the internet we're talking about, but then again one of the dealers i called today didn't know a 19HP Kawi was even available...)

engine options for the s50xt are 24, and 27 briggs. or 19hp kawasaki fx

I just got the s50xt with the 27hp briggs and 48 inch ICD deck and it's a great mower

I'm a fan of the cut, the only downside i have is that it doesn't hold a hill as well as other mowers I have used. But the price is great and its a great machine

You will want the ICD deck for sure. It has great cut quality and comes with a stripe kit. I demoed and seriously considered Snapper Pro last year. One of the best bang for the buck mowers available by far.
