buting a ztr need advice please

My friend is looking to replace is simplicity rider with a ztr for his one acre lot. Personally, I have had a Ferris and now have a Scag V-ride. We looked at a John Deer Z225 48" with 22hp for $2800. Good buy? Good machine? What is the best home owner Ztr value out there? Not a bumpy lawn. He would go $4500 max. Personally, I got rid of my Ferris because it didnt disperse grass well. My Scag disperses grass great. We have Toro, snapper, husqvarna, and JD around along with ferris and scag and Bad boy and exmark. Good grass dispersal is important IMO.

What would u guys recommend or have experience with? Thanks much!

There isn a dealer selling a Simplicity champion 50" for $4300. That seems like a good deal, but not the Ferris ICD deck. I would think that the JD here and the Champion, while the champion much stouter, would cut/disperse similiar. therefore perhaps not worth the extra dollars?

You can visit your local Exmark dealer so they can help determine what is best for your needs. If you prefer, we can reach out to a dealer for you and ask them to contact you. If you are interested, please send your contact information to exmarkpr@exmark.com.
