35% of payroll. They asked if we do retaining walls. Since I said yes I think that jacked up the policy. Still seems crazy high. I know roofers paying that!

Wow. That's more than taxes. No wonder people can't make money. And why for retaing walls. That's not dangerous work.

Insurance in general just sucks. Between General, Auto, and workers comp it adds up damn quick.

while your at it, be sure to not pay taxes. and dont worry about blowing off the back deck. noone uses it anyway and it can save you time.

and if you have a buddy with a truck. just take his. why buy your own? be sure to paint it tho. so he wont know you took it.

If you don't want to pay for workers comp then don't accept jobs that require you to have it. $750 is cheap as long as you make more money in revenue for having to carry it.

it was actually a barter i was bidding on. would have been worth the workmans comp. they did not go for it tho. ah well
