I suspect the customer will agree and we'll start putting it in when the meter's put in. Backflow on a new meter is a must ( I do believe that one is required). Rain sensor is going in, too. Question on that- do y'all prefer the little catch basin types with some sort of media in them, or do you like the in-ground soil moisture testers?
Prob best to use a conventional rain sensor 1st time. Personally I like the Rainbird WR2 wireless. Wireless is usually easier to mount transmitting unit in a good place and not have to worry about unsightly wire
