Would that even be a possibility? I also love, love, love the lighting shrink concept but a barrel connector with heat shrink tubing is not a new idea. I've also used the "ACE" connector for years.... did they patent that? If so, wouldn't their concept be basically the same as Lighting Shrink and therefore be owned by whomever created the "ACE?" Just curious here and wondering how patents work when it comes to products that are very similar and/or basically the same idea. As I said though, I love them both. Probably the best connection method in the industry.

I would like to know as well where's a patent lawyer when you need one. I'll see if I can do some research on patent laws .......in other words ask a friend
