I run a Velke X2 behind my JD WG36A. The X2 impressed me the most out of those I looked at in terms of build quality and strength.

I also have a 36" but it's a floating deck, I have a 1-wheel sulky and it works out great on my 36", i want a 2-wheel one though

Ran an X2 for about 3 years on a 36" Toro ProLine Belt Drive and a 48" Bobcat Belt Drive. Never had any issues. They come in different colors on Russo's site. Red, Black, Wright Yellow, Scag Orange.
