Fish in a Pondless.

Hah. Yes, there is a small 18" deep pool towards the top of the waterfall that was designed to hold water and not drain. I have an aerator pump that runs 24/7 so that I can run the waterfall pump on demand.

I was worried the fish wouldn't stay healthy, but they have done fine. There are 2 small koi, and one small goldfish. (The only one that survived the snake and whatever else was getting them). I had to put gutter mesh across the bottom of the pool to keep the fish from washing down the falls.

I am going to run a small pond deicer and try to keep the fish in there for winter.
