Scag collection system question

Hello All!

I have a 2011 scag tiger cub with the 61" velocity plus deck. I have been searching about every day for a used collection system via craigslist...etc. I found someone a few hours away with the OEM collection system for a 2006 Scag Turf Tiger with the 61" velocity deck... do any of you see any problems as far as compatibility? I guess I am just wondering if the width of the chute mounting to the deck should be the same?

Everything should fit but will probably need new mounting brackets on the rear of the mower where the three bag connects. What horsepower is on your cub? They take a bit of power to run the collection systems.

I have a 25hp kohler on it. Do you think I would have a problem?

It will run it but you will probably get a lot bogging down in a lot of conditions.

yep, mounting brackets are one of the things you'll have to order for the kit to work. I'd make sure all the other stuff ie; belt, pulley, blower mounting bracket and the block off plate that narrows the discharge on the deck to match the blower intake side. Probably a few other things you'll need as well. If you get it, make sure you get the weights along with it.
