Great Dane chariot Sr. Hydraulic hose help
Replaced left hand (sitting on machine ) hydro pump trying to make sure I have the 2 high pressure hoses hooked to the right ports, if someone could tell me which hose on wheel motor top or bottom hooks to the port on the hydro pump inside or outside looking up at it or could post a pic of it.
Thanks |

Top hose on the motor goes to the port closest to the driver seat. Bottom hose on motor obviously goes to the port on pump closest to the left side. I'm working on a same mower as we speak.

I use 'Mobil 1' 15/50 symthetic per manual instructions. (used it on a surfer too) Yes..you are correct on the hose route. I put new bearing/seals in on right pump. I flushed out just the motor as pump was clean..but I suppose the whole system is correct way. As of right now I got my hydros working correct now. Hope this helps P.S. you can get owners manual free off net. I did and it is helpful. I also got a manual on the hydro-gear pump off net too and it was helpful in tear-down. The manual info came to me from a earlier post I had made so credit goes to that poster. to flush the wheel motor I put about 1 quart (15/50) in on of the two hoses and turned the wheel by hand. It pulled it through and pumped it out the other hose and into drain pan (except for all over floor too)
