Congrats on the little one. It's amazing what having kids will do to ya. Changes you. I never knew just how much I would love being a dad (I have a 16 month old daughter and a son coming in May); it's a lot of fun. It has to be in order to get no sleep, get sick all the time, and have a house that looks like a tornado went through it.

Just looking back at all the cool pictures. I see you were going to review a 299d in the fall but it didn't happen. Did you not like it? I just bought a 299d xps not xhp today. Haven't signed on it yet but I'm close.

4 seasons, thanks for the compliment. We did try out a 299c xhp on a project as well has a T750 bobcat with the forestry package. Unfortunetly we got way to busy on some other projects so we never had a chance to run the 299D like we wanted to. I did run another contractors 289D xhp with the forestry package on it for a few hours and was very impressed with the machine. If i was to buy a large frame ctl right now no doubt it would be a 289 or 299D.
