Cut quality?

I just installed a set of high lifts on my Super-mini 52/25, have'nt cut with it yet but was wondering if i might get a better cut since the blades are supposed to raise the grass while cutting. Is this true? Have tried gators and fusion, both were great on thick fescue but horrible on the thin flowery grass.

Thin stuff is going to be hard on any mower / deck configuration.
High lifts may help this, hard to say due to varying conditions.
