I talked to Mark before I made the post. It sounds like the only resi accounts he is wanting are in the areas you already serve because it's not cost effective otherwise. Every time Mark and I talk the conversation usually lasts a half an hour or more comparing notes on how things are going.

Here's a post http://www.lawnsite.com/showpost.php...&postcount=478 on my thread about a company for sale in Austin. Another joker giving mowing away for nothing and then tried to sell his company as though it's actually worth anything.

Who can name this plant. These pictures were taken in Dripping Springs. The plant has been there for years and the deer don't like it.

The mystery plant is Grevillea. It's grown by San Marcos Growers in CA.

I know at least one person on here has started to dabble in holiday lights. My goal this year is 20 new customers and 60K in sales. I'm at six new customers and 12K in sales so far.

Honestly by time everyone is ready for lights I am ready to slow down for the year, between leaves, annuals, and everything else we really don't have a lot of spare time either. With that said all of my buddies with similar sized companies put out lights. Hope it works out well for you! I don't know how y'all keep up with everything and do lights.

Not sure if I ever posted in here before....but definilty in texas. I figured Id post here so yall can help me keep an eye out for my stolen equipment. Check my signature below for the list of items, and PM me if you think you see any of it...especially the Exmark Z Series 52 inch EFI.

Regarding Christmas light installs, I have done my own house for years, but had two customers recently ask about installs. One of them is a commercial customer. Im in West Texas, and could really use some advice about this service before getting in too deep. They wanted a bid from me, and I held off until I could do more research. If anyone is willing to help out with that, and maybe how you price this service, id really appreciate it. PM's are fine if you don't want to put the info out there, and I understand that too.

Thanks in advance,
rob
