Looks like temp may be a factor. Without a label who knows but 18-0-8 should have a ton of Uflex Urea in it which temp and rain shouldn't affect according to the manu. How about a pic of the lawn and a link to the product? Are all 18-0-8 created equal??

Give it 2 weeks and it will be fine. I have seen it happen randomly during the heat of summer around here. I've even seen it on lawns from a 21" mower(tracks).

lots of variables to consider but the biggest item is that it didn't happen in the other lawns you treated so unless you did something specifically different with that lawn....it probably isn't your chemicals.

Yes it will be fine but the OP wants to know what went wrong so as not to PO the same customer by doing the same thing again next time.

It was a lesco product. 18-0-8 with allectus. 40% coated. As far as the weed control it was momentum fx2, no spreader sticker was used due to the heat/dryness. I've been back to the lawn twice now and it is really improving. Still a few marks here and there but looks 10x better. Greened up a lot and growing nicely.

I showed the homeowner the link for heat tracking, definitely gave them additional piece of mind. Thanks guys
