Now, go get some legitimate, local Likes. Trust me, you don't want Lawnsiters Liking your Page. You'll crowd out the legit, potential customers.

Seriously. If you just want to appear legitimate to your customers on FB, you can buy hundreds of likes on Fiverr.com

But, it rules out FB as an advertising platform for many reasons. Your posts will not be seen by your real customers for one, and secondly, if you ever want to do FB ads, they will cost more because your quality score is higher.

For many, this may not be an issue. It's much better to offer $10 for your real customers who like your page (which is now against FB terms, so you have to do it outside of their platform). At least you will have REAL customers in your target area and demographic. Then, your FB page becomes valuable.

\.
I haven't really looked at lawncare companies, but among design-build firms in my area the average is probably around 400-800 likes. 100-200 is sort of the minimum to show you're trying.

If you're not posting great content no one's going to believe you have 2500+ legit followers on FB. And if you can't hit 100 organically, without resorting to fiverr and other tricks, why even be on FB?

I use the page for posting photos of work, and general information that I make available to friends and clients alike.
Ive had people call and say theyve seen some work via the facebook page. Its a hit from when someone googles your company name.
