Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois soil temperature tracker for pesticide application

This soil temperature tracker saved my bacon last spring. Forget about dates for applying pre emergence. Crabgrass etc. germinates by soil temperatures.

I applied pre-em earlier last spring than I have ever applied it. If I'd waited tor the usual dates to apply the pre-em it would have all been wasted.

Anyone who applies by date vs soil temp when it comes to pre-m has been... and will continue to minimize their results.

Different weed species seeds germinate at different soil temperatures.

What soil temperature maximizes pre-m for the majority of weed seed species?

Yeah, i remember that site, very nice. I wish there was something like that for my area of the country. The best i can do is get the online daily soil temp. from a university 50 mile's away. GDD's and soil temperature's are the way to go.
