Best Trailer Tires?

I just dealt with this issue last week. I have a 16' trailer that was built for me with 5200 lbs, torsion spring double axles with brakes all around and 15" rims. I wanted it as close to the ground as possible to reduce the rear gate angle. It's an H.D. open trailer that weighs close to 3K empty.

The original tires lasted me for several years. They were ST225/75R/15 TOW-MASTER - Load range "D" and I replaced them all last year with the Power King -Tow Max with the same size radial as above but in Load range "E" instead of "D". Last week, I hit a curb and it cut the side wall forcing me to replace one of the Tow Max.

The rest of the Tow Max are already 75% worn through and I had to plug them at least 3 times. I spent several hours calling around and researching the web prior to replacing that ruined tire with another Tow-Master, as I had originally.

I already knew Goodyear Marathons have a history of blowing out especially in hot weather(FL). With the Carlisle, only a few of their trailer tires were actually good, so that was out. Using Auto tires instead of trailer specific tires was highly NOT recommended and a safety issue. The Tow-Master are about $30.00 more each out the door(balancing included) than the Tow Max but experience has shown me that I got what I paid for. The Power King - Tow Max were not a good trailer tire/value for me. I would never buy them again.
