I'd rather NOT have to pay into the SS system, I am confident that if I took that money I could make way more money on my own-

but I do and will as I don't need the likes of the IRS hunting me down-

Well if you dont pay your ss tax you might wind up in jail.

I will say Social Security is nothing more than sa big SCAM and at 47 it I could opt out I would even though Ive paid in for 35 years

SS is for the elderly. and the scammers. your paying for the elderly RIGHT NOW. and hopefuly when we get elder. the younger people will pay US....

BUT,,,,, it's NOT a law that you have to pay SS......

BUT you do have to invest in something simular for your retirement.
I kno many dont belive this.
Very few Teachers pay into SS. most of them only pay into teachers retirement. it's an inverstment program set up ONLY for trachers.
and YES you can do this too. NOT as a TEACHER. but for your self. and NOT pay into the SS system.

this is what I do. BUT you really have to know what yor doing.
my advice is, if you want to NOT pay into it. then hire an DAMMED GOOD Planner.

it will pay off in the end.
