I dont understand this, I keep a carb rebuild kit lying around for all of my equipment, to keep downtime to a minimum. I cant rebuild a carb in 20 mins or less + soaking. If I spend 350 on a new blower, and can get a rebuild kit for $10 or less I would have to rebuild my carb 35 times to make that worth it. Even replacing other parts, pull cords ect is cheaper over all than to replace everything. I do all of my own maintenance with help from my dad,
PS Why do you hate your 413h? I love mine for clean up after mowing... |

Be best buy something bigger and better
But I always buy new every 3-4 yrs most time the trimmers are junk once they start having problems I buy new but When I got 4 mix they been good no repairs and they are 4 yrs old They are holding up better then all the 2 strokes I owned over the yrs |

As much as I love echo's blowers and power pruners, their carbs seem to be touchy. I have a bunch of still fs85 and fs90 line trimmers that never need adjustment nor carb cleaning. Echo on the other hand, seems to need it twice a year and you need a special tool to adjust the carbs on echos...best off buying that tool instead of bring it in every time. Or learn how to clean them yourself. Having stuff sitting at a shop for a few days never helps anyone out.
