Hello again, by gardening I meant cutting down perrenials, like lillies, hostas, black eyed susans, etc, and then pruning back any shrubs that may need it, like spireas, weigelas, etc, excluding evergreens which shouldn't be pruned in the fall anyways. Canada is great for immigrants, no sure about illegal ones, sorry. Anyways thanks for making conversation, I'm new to the site and just started my business this year, but have been doing this type of work for many years.

Also how often they want it done, once a year, once a month, every week, etc. I haven't found a rule of thumb for leaf removal as far as bidding, I estimate the time it will take and typically charge $45 per man hour and include the time and cost it will take to dispose of the leaves.
You're right, it does matter on number/size/type of trees in a yard. The 3-4 times is a general rule, at least in the midwest. I charge 3x's the mowing cost and it almost always works well to my advantage. But like Set Apart Lawn Care says you need to take into consideration the amount of leaves that are falling.

I like the idea some one said about its extra. So how ever many minutes I'm at the property that's what I charge
