7000 minus the empty weight of trailer equals more then the weight of that machine? I dont think so. thats probably a 6/6.5k machine.

atleast you know the gate won't hold. how are they reinforcing it

Trailer weighs 1,500 # and the machine is 5,400 #. I'm right there, with bucket and forks I'm a little over. I'm going to run angle iron across the width of the gate. - Mike

Here are some pictures of my new to me truck. 99 Chevy 1500 with 3" body lift, 4" suspension lift, 35's, with the 5.3 v8. Has a brush guard and bed cover. Let me know what you think! - Mike
