quick question regarding my business

should i be carrying my sales tax permit with me when i am out working?

It might not be such a bad idea probably more so to show customers who won't believe that you charge tax but I would run off a copy, I don't see yourself having to show it to some code enforcement officer thou I suppose that possibility might exist, I'd leave the original at home.
