Jenna is off to a great start in the softball Season. She moved up to Varsity this year. She is the reserve catcher and a designated hitter.

It was both a good and bad week. Had to have a wheel hub and ball joint put on the dodge. Cost $567. Weed eater fell off the rack new carb $135. Good news finished 65 accounts in just 4 days.

Lost by a 30% margin. Guess I should have sucked up to the local Republican party leaders like my opponent did. A working class citizen does not stand a chance in politics.

Do you think the children will continue with your business? Honestly that was part of the reason I started building my business, to hopefully include at least one of my four sons. I have my doubts that any of them will jump on board and that makes me a little sad

I think my son will but probably not my daughter. They will have to go and get a job and then maybe they will realize how much can be made in Lawn care.

Wow the highs and lows of the Lawn Care business. Got 30 accounts done yesterday it was the most accounts done in one day. That's the high.

Now the lows. The 52 inch Scag has been in the shop for weeks having the deck gear box welded back on and the deck serviced. No big deal until the 52 inch Husqvarna broke a pulley yesterday so now both the big mowers are out of service. I can handle that I still have the tried and true 40 inch Gravely along with a Toro 33 inch wide cut and a standard push mower.

That was until today when for some unknown reason the Gravely stopped pumping gas to the carb. I have never had three units down at anyone time. Just going to have to by pass the larger cuts and do what I can with the push mower and wide cut until I get the part for the Husqvarna.

Never a dull moment in Lawn Care. Wish me luck.

That sounds like an awful day. I hope it all worked out.
