Toro LX420 Kohler Courage 18
Hello,
I have a Toro LX420 with a Kohler Courage 18 on it. I was cutting grass on the 4th. I had to stop and adjust something when I got back on it, I checked the gas and it was low so I filled it up. When I went to start it, it would crank and run when the choke was on but when I backed off the choke it would run for a few seconds then die, like it was starving for fuel. I thought it was a clogged fuel filter so today I replaced it and the same thing is happening. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks... |

It would appear that it's carb cleanup time--check your tank and fuel supply for any water puddles in the bottom of the tank, if it's possible.

I got my carb off today (yeah grass is high). It looks like it is 2085316. It has a solenoid, does anyone have a link or pdf of how to rebuild the carb? I haven't ever done a rebuild before but want to try. Thanks...
